Set in the dystopian city of Vordros , where people’s lives are governed by mysterious marks, the story follows Zane, Lira, and Cass as they challenge a system controlled by the enigmatic Watchers. Each mark symbolizes a predestined role: Zane's mark signifies betrayal, Lira’s leadership, and Cass's sacrifice. They reject their fates and embark on a journey to uncover the truth behind the marks, leading them to the Silent City—a place holding the Source of their oppression.
